While I think there is alot to be said for development improving people's lives, I do not think it will solve all those problems that it claims it will. In the end, it is just bringing more people fully into the structurally flawed system of capitalism.
@Will, that may be. Wouldn't it be better to have people involved in a system instead of marginalized on the outside of it? I agree capitalism has its flaws, but isn't it possible to have some kind of conscious capitalism.
