While I think there is alot to be said for development improving people's lives, I do not think it will solve all those problems that it claims it will. In the end, it is just bringing more people fully into the structurally flawed system of capitalism.
ReplyDelete@Will, that may be. Wouldn't it be better to have people involved in a system instead of marginalized on the outside of it? I agree capitalism has its flaws, but isn't it possible to have some kind of conscious capitalism.
